Description
The Smith & Wesson M&P9 Shield EZ is a compact 9mm designed around straightforward operation and comfortable handling. Its easy-to-rack slide, easy-loading magazines, textured polymer grip, and moderate dimensions make it especially appealing to shooters who prefer reduced slide resistance without stepping down from a centerfire defensive caliber.
This model features an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, grip safety, 3.675-inch barrel, accessory rail, tactile loaded-chamber indicator, and distinctive rear slide tabs that provide additional purchase during loading or clearing. The pistol includes two 8-round magazines, giving it an 8+1 capacity. Smith & Wesson currently lists the 9mm Shield EZ manual-safety configuration with a $539 MSRP.
