Description

This Colt Single Action Army is an exceptionally attractive dual-cylinder example chambered in .45 Colt and accompanied by a matching-number .45 ACP cylinder. Serial number SA65612 (manufacturered in 1984) is provided for the revolver, and the auxiliary cylinder is represented as matching the gun. The combination gives this SAA considerably more collector interest than a typical production example.

The revolver features a brilliant high-polish silver-tone finish covered with extensive scroll engraving across the frame, barrel, cylinder, recoil shield, loading gate and backstrap areas. Smooth ivory-colored grips with gold-tone Colt medallions complete the presentation. The engraving is especially striking against the mirror-polished surfaces and gives the revolver the appearance of a presentation-grade Single Action Army.

Included are the .45 Colt and .45 ACP cylinders, Colt box with fitted Styrofoam insert, owner's literature and original packaging materials pictured. The revolver is in excellent condition with very limited visible wear. For the serious Colt SAA collector, the matching auxiliary cylinder and unusually elaborate finish make this a standout example.
