The SIG SAUER MCX-SPEAR 7.62 NATO Pistol (PSPEAR-762-13B) is the civilian counterpart to the rifle platform selected by the U.S. Army for the Next Generation Squad Weapon program. Built around SIG’s advanced short-stroke piston system, the MCX-SPEAR offers exceptional reliability, reduced recoil impulse, and outstanding durability when running modern high-pressure cartridges.

This configuration features a 13-inch cold hammer forged barrel, chambered in 7.62×51 / .308 Winchester, making it a powerful and compact platform suitable for precision shooting, hunting setups, or defensive applications where maneuverability matters. The rifle uses SIG’s fully ambidextrous controls, a two-stage match trigger, and an AR-compatible reduced-angle grip, giving shooters a familiar but upgraded control layout.

Finished in Coyote anodized, the MCX-SPEAR includes a free-float M-LOK handguard with full-length Picatinny rail, allowing easy integration of optics, bipods, lights, and other accessories. The platform feeds from AR-10 pattern magazines and ships with a 20-round polymer magazine, making it compatible with widely available magazines and accessories. The result is a modern large-frame piston platform designed for shooters who want military-grade engineering in a compact and versatile configuration.
