Sako 85 Finnlight II SS

The Sako 85 Finnlight II SS is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 24.3 inch fluted barrel and 5+1 capacity. It uses a lightweight RTM fiberglass stock with carbon fiber bedding and an adjustable cheek piece. A weather resistant Cerakote finish on the stainless barreled action makes this a full size hunting rifle that stays practical to carry.

The fluted barrel uses a 1:8 twist and is designed to cut weight while helping the barrel cool between shots. There are no iron sights, and the receiver uses a dovetail optics rail for scope mounting. The two-way Sako safety locks both the trigger and the bolt handle and allows a cartridge to be loaded or unloaded with the safety engaged.

The single-stage trigger is adjustable from 2 to 4 lbs and sits in an all-steel trigger guard. Soft touch elastomer grip surfaces and a textured stock finish help maintain control in wet or cold conditions. At 42.72 inches overall and 6.76 lbs, the Finnlight II SS is suited to long treks and other carry focused 6.5 Creedmoor hunting.
