The MasterPiece Arms DS9 Hybrid IDPA V2 is a competition-optimized wide-body double-stack 1911 pistol chambered in 9mm, meticulously hand-built and tuned for IDPA shooters seeking flat, fast, and incredibly accurate performance. This variant features a black nitride slide and frame, silver stainless threaded bull barrel, matte silver titanium single-port compensator, silver slide stop and ambi-thumb safety, stationary beavertail, and a red anodized aluminum trigger shoe in medium length. It includes the Accuracy X modular sight system with co-witness iron sights and installed RMR pattern optics plate (no rear filler plate), paired with a black anodized aluminum grip featuring standard texture for reliable control.

The 4.25" slide and hand-fitted 4.6" threaded barrel, combined with the lightweight titanium compensator, deliver exceptional balance and reduced muzzle rise for quicker follow-up shots, while the MPA carry magwell, ISMI/Wolff springs, and 2.0 lb match trigger ensure crisp, consistent performance. All components are machined from barstock and billet in the USA with no MIM parts, hand-lapped for smooth operation, and rigorously tested for reliability. It ships with three MBX 126mm magazines featuring IDPA tapered basepads, plus a custom MPA pistol bag and lifetime warranty.
