The MasterPiece Arms DS9 Hybrid IDPA Version is a precision-engineered double-stack 1911 pistol crafted for competitive IDPA shooters in ESP and Carry Optics divisions. This all-black configuration features a V6 ported barrel for minimized muzzle rise, black nitride finish on frame and slide, standard texture black anodized aluminum grip, and traditional adjustable iron sights with Kensight Bomar-style rear and fiber optic front. Built entirely from billet and barstock components with hand-lapped fit, it delivers outstanding accuracy and reliability backed by a lifetime warranty.

Critical design elements include the Butler Cut for optimal weight balance, MPA carry magwell for fast reloads, custom hammer, sear, disconnector, and crisp 2.5-pound trigger pull. The stationary beavertail, one-piece stainless guide rod, and premium ISMI springs ensure smooth function, while the modular Accuracy X system supports easy sight configuration changes—all machined in the USA without forgings, MIM, or castings.
