The Escort FieldHunter Turkey is a 12 gauge pump-action shotgun with a 24 inch chrome-plated Ni-Cr-Mo barrel and a 3 inch chamber. It uses a synthetic stock and long forend in Realtree APG with checkered grip surfaces, a rubber butt pad, and sling swivels. The aircraft-alloy receiver is anodized and has an 11mm groove for optics.

The pump cycles 2-3/4 inch and 3 inch shells. A checkered ventilated rib and metal bead sight give a simple aiming point. A manual cross-button safety and four stock shims are standard. Five steel-shot-suitable chokes are included: F, IM, M, IC, and CYL.
