This Colt Third Generation John Wayne Commemorative Single Action Army is a beautifully executed tribute to one of America’s most iconic Western film legends. Chambered in .45 Colt and featuring the classic 4 3/4-inch barrel, this revolver combines traditional Colt craftsmanship with elaborate John Wayne-themed embellishments that make it highly desirable among Colt collectors and Western memorabilia enthusiasts alike.

The revolver remains in outstanding as-new-in-box condition and retains nearly all of its original deep Colt blue finish. Light factory scroll engraving accents both sides of the frame and the right side of the barrel, while extensive gold-filled etchings decorate the barrel, ejector rod housing, unfluted cylinder, and backstrap. These embellishments include John Wayne’s famous Red River cattle brand, his likeness, and signature, giving the revolver unmistakable presentation appeal.
