Chambered in the versatile .22 magnum, the WMP shares a wide assortment of similarities with its center-fire counterparts. The Performance Duty Trigger offers an exceptionally smooth pull, with a short length of travel, and a distinct tactile break – this translates to repeatable accuracy and maximum shooter confidence. To ensure positive slide manipulations, the WMP is equipped with Superterrain Cocking Serrations that protrude on the slide and allow fast, responsive operations for charging and clearing the pistol. The slide also features an optics cut for use with a red dot sight, but a cover plate is included should the user want to retain the original factory appearance. One of the WMP’s more notable features is its ambidextrous Quad Mangazine Release, which features both a button-style release and a paddle-style release. In addition, the WMP is equipped with fully adjustable sights, as well as Walther’s innovative stepped chamber which provides the reliability of a duty handgun while still maintaining match-grade accuracy.
