It starts with a CNC-machined stainless steel receiver. This receiver features an integral 20 MOA rail making it ideal for long-range rimfire shooting.

The Snake Fluted Barrel is threaded into the receiver increasing rigidity between barrel and action.

As with all Volquartsen rifles, it features CNC-machined and wire-EDM components as we feel this is essential in building the best semi-auto rimfire rifle available. The CNC-machined bolt includes a titanium round firing pin and tuned extractor for improved performance and function.

The TG2000 trigger group provides a crisp, clean 2.25lb trigger pull. Both pretravel and overtravel are user-adjustable to the shooter's preference.

The VF-ORYX is set into the ORYX Chassis from MDT – perfect when shooting from the bench, a bipod, or a prone position!

What is the ORYX chassis?

ORYX is a one-piece integrated aluminum chassis and buttstock created to improve the consistency and accuracy of your rifle. From the forend to the buttpad, the ORYX is a one-piece aircraft grade aluminum setup.

Featuring a free floating barrel, contoured forend grip, adjustable cheek riser, and overmolded pistol grip it doesn't get much more comfortable than the ORYX Chassis. It also features a .25'' spacer in the buttpad for adjustable LOP.
