Used “Paratrooper” 1966 Norinco SKS 7.62×39 – Very Good Condition!

Norinco SKS in very good condition. Roughly 1966 production. Shows mostly "new-style" features like a stamped trigger guard but does have the rare one-piece gas tube. Includes Chinese style dovetail mounted to the side – these can be adapted to the modern stye with an adapter made by MOLOT. Rifle is fitted with a removable magazine. Top handguard has been replaced with a polymer piece with an integral rail: the top handguards on some of these were Bakelite and tended to break, so this likely explains the replacement. Bayonet lug is installed but is missing the bayonet itself. Condition is fairly good throughout, with some scratches on the receiver and some stains on the bolt but no mechanical flaws or serious damage. A rubber buttplate was fitted by the original importer. This is a great example of a late-importation SKS and, with an adapter and red dot installed, would make for a fun little range toy or ranch rifle.
