Used Colt Python 357 Mag 6″ Barrel Blued Circa 1976

1976 Colt Python in good condition. 6 inch blued gun. Revolver is mechanically excellent, with a recent gunsmith service on timing and lockup resulting in a tight cylinder and characteristically superb hammer and trigger. Finish is fair to good – this was a police officer's working gun, and it does show to some extent, with wear around the cylinder, trigger guard, and right side of the gun resulting in some patches of thin finish and spots of discoloration. The wooden grips are similarly worn, with varnish worn around the backstrap, but are free of major dings or dents and well-fitted. Bore and cylinder are bright and free of major wear. This is a great opportunity to pick up a legendary revolver for a price well below an impeccable one while still enjoying both a piece of history and an excellent shooter.
