US Springfield M1 Garand rifle

US Springfield M1 Garand rifle, .30 caliber, Serial #2063643. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 24” barrel. The metal surfaces retain the majority of their original military finish with light handling marks noted. The smooth wood stock is in very good condition with only storage marks. The barrel is marked, “SA” and dated 11-64. The butt stock features a “P” cartouche behind the trigger guard. The butt stock includes sling swivels, an OD green canvas sling and ends with a checkered steel butt plate with trap. The bore is very good, the action crisp and markings are sharp on this desirable M1. The rifle was ordered through the CMP on January 21, 1986.
