Precisely hand fitted and assembled by Taurus’s skilled gunsmiths, this 1911 features a frame, slide, and barrel made from cast-ordnance-grade steel – this results in extreme durability and a remarkably long service life. The grips are custom made by VZ and feature ergonomic stippling, and the front and back strap areas feature serrated texturing, both of which provide excellent control over the weapon and a comfortable shooting experience. Other features of the Taurus 1911 include drift-adjustable Novak front and rear sights, and cocking serrations in the fore and aft areas of the slide make chambering a round effortless. In addition, the Taurus 1911 is available in both 9mm Luger and .45 ACP.
