The Stoeger Double Defense is a straightforward, rugged and reliable home defense shotgun designed for use in tight quarters and tense situations. This 12 gauge side-by-side features traditional break-action design with short, efficient 20-inch ported barrels and a fast single-trigger system for quick deployment in an emergency. Chambered for 2-3/4- and 3-inch shells, it offers practical up-to-date features on a proven double-gun platform.

The Double Defense comes with fixed improved cylinder chokes, a green fiber-optic front sight, and convenient tang-mounted automatic safety. It includes two Picatinny rail accessory mounts—one on the receiver for red-dot sights and one under the barrels for lasers or tactical lights. All metal surfaces have a non-reflective matte blue finish paired with a matte black synthetic stock and forearm for durability and low visibility.
