The included Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Syd Stembridge, confirms this rifle’s use in The High Chaparral and by assorted actors. Copies of original rental invoices further document its on-screen appearances in The High Chaparral (1970), Shame, Shame on the Bixby Boys (1977), The Last Ride of the Dalton Gang (1978), and The Long Riders (1980). In The Long Riders, actor Stacy Keach, portraying Frank James, can be seen wielding a rifle matching this configuration in several key scenes.

Stembridge’s modifications include brass-plating the receiver, nickel-finishing most metal components, and adding a Henry-style false magazine follower with a receiver extension.
