Description

This Smith 29-2 comes as seen in overall good shape, no box. Note: there is some holste wear and rubs and scratches on the barrel and cylinder, some visible in the pictures and some not.

The Smith & Wesson Model 29-2 is a classic late 1960s revolver known for its robust build and powerful .44 Magnum chambering. Featuring a 4-inch pinned and recessed barrel, this model delivers a perfect balance between portability and precision, making it ideal for both target shooting and personal defense. The distinctive red ramp front sight enhances visibility, allowing for quick target acquisition in various lighting conditions.

This particular Model 29-2, with its target hammer and trigger, provides a smooth, consistent trigger pull. The revolver's N-Frame construction ensures durability and longevity, easily handling the powerful .44 Magnum rounds. Its design embodies the craftsmanship of Smith & Wesson from this era, reflecting a time when revolvers were meticulously crafted for performance and reliability.

This revolver does show signs of significant holster wear, particularly along the barrel and cylinder, indicating it has likely been carried in a holster for a while. While the finish may show its age, the revolver remains fully functional, offering the same dependable performance that has made the Model 29-2 a legend among firearms enthusiasts and collectors.
