The M&P9 M2.0 Metal is equipped with a compensated barrel designed by Faxon in partnership with Smith & Wesson, significantly reducing felt recoil and muzzle flip for faster follow-up shots and improved target acquisition. The aggressive slide design includes lightening cuts to decrease weight and improve reliability. The pistol also features the C.O.R.E.™ plate system for mounting a red dot sight, with suppressor-height sights for co-witnessing.

The tactile and audible trigger reset ensures a precise and consistent shooting experience. The full-size frame is made from 7075-T6 anodized aluminum, providing durability and a lightweight feel. The pistol includes four interchangeable palmswell grip inserts for a customizable fit and comes optic-ready without a manual thumb safety.
