Smith and Wesson 2nd Model Hand Ejector in .45 Long Colt. This is a British Army gun, reamed out from .455 Webley to .45 Long Colt. Finish is in fine condition, some discoloration and small corrosion marks along the bottom of the receiver flats and top strap and some holster wear at the end of the barrel, but otherwise in good condition with a nice deep shiny blue. Grips are in nice condition, with small dings around the butt of the handle but very good checkering and well-preserved medallions. Mechanically very good, with smooth trigger and positive hammer actions. Cylinder lock up is tight, with a very small amount of side to side wiggle but no front to back movement. Ejector rod is straight and smooth. British ordnance marks are an attractive contrasting white, with proof marks on the back of the frame and rear of the cylinder.
