The Remington Model 700 SPS is a right hand bolt action rifle chambered in .243 Winchester and built on the familiar 700 receiver. This youth size Special Purpose Synthetic model uses a 20 inch carbon steel barrel, a matte blued finish, and a matte black stock with gray panels. Drilled and tapped receiver holes are ready for a scope, so the rifle is set up as an optic ready hunter from the start.

A hammer forged barrel and three rings of steel receiver are the working core of the 700 action. The two position safety and improved synthetic stock keep the rifle simple in the field, and the 4 round magazine feeds .243 Winchester without extra bulk.
