Rare .38-40 1997 3rd Gen Colt Single Action Army – Excellent Condition

Colt 3rd Gen Single Action Army in rare .38-40. 7-1/2" barrel. Standard markings, including single line company address on the top of the barrel, patent dates on the left side of the frame, and "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Blade front sight with U-notch frame rear. Factory nickel finish with smooth wood grips. The original checkered plastic grips are also included. Ships in original blue hard case. Condition is excellent. Metal is excellent overall, with a few minor scratches and handling marks. Both sets of grips are excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Sharp mechanics. Light drag line on the cylinder.
