Description
Finnish M39 Mosin-Nagant. Hex receiver. VKT (Valmet) barrel dated to 1944. Two-piece stock. Condition is very nice. Metal surfaces retain original finish and are free or rust. All serials match except for floorplate – those were often mixed in arsenal rebuilds and often do not match. All mechanical functions are excellent and sights are undamaged. Wood is very nice, with a few dings here and there but no major damage. Upper handguard has a repaired crack immediately in front of the rear sight. These are unquestionably the ultimate Mosins and are only getting scarcer. Includes an original sling.
