This joint issue commemorates the roles of the Winchester rifle & the Colt revolver as everyday tools of the cowboys, settlers & lawmen who shaped our history & folklore. Set is housed in a 42" X 12 1/2" wood case w/ burgundy velour fitted interior. Case lid has brass Winchester – Colt commemorative plaque. Also includes gold colored commemorative medallions w/ Winchester Horse & Rider & rampant Colt. Back of medallions are marked with matching serial numbers "131WC". 2 Important Document envelope containing Winchester & Colt letters. Total of 3,250 sets produced in 1984. 1) WINCHESTER 94 LEVER ACTION CARBINE. Cal. 44-40 Win. serial number 131WC. Bbl. 20". Right side of bbl. has gold picture of Winchester mfg. plant, left side has gold "WINCHESTER' inscription. Both are bordered by gold scroll highlights. Blue finished action has gold ornamentation consisting of fancy borders & vine type scroll w/ portrait of Oliver F. Winchester on right side. Left side has gold Winchester Horse & Rider & vignette w/ initials "W / C". Top tang has gold "O.F. Winchester" signature. Features include case colored lever, gold finished pinned blade front sight & full buckhorn rear sight. Satin finished forearm & stock of fancy walnut w/ spade pattern cut checkering. Ships with styrofoam box w/ red, white & gold sleeve. Box contains instructions, warranty & purchase record card. Appears unfired, right side of receiver has spot of discoloration over Oliver Winchester portrait. (2) COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER. Cal. 44-40. serial number 131WC. Barrel 7 1/2". Right side of bbl. has gold plated Colt mfg. plant, left side has gold "Colt". Both are surrounded by gold highlights of vine type scroll. 6 Shot rnd. cyl. w/ gold border & scroll highlights having rampant Colt & "W / C" vignettes. Backstrap has gold "Col. Sam Colt" signature. Gun has blue finish w/ case colored frame & polished hammer sides. 1 Piece satin finished walnut grip. Ships with styrofoam box w/ blue, white & gold sleeve containing, NRA card, service center manual, warranty card, Colt Companion booklet & Colt congratulations letter. Near new, appears unused.
