Description
A rare chance to own one of the revolvers that helped build the west. This is an original Single Action Army Artillery Model revolver that was produced in 1885 by Colt under the inspector David F. Clark. Like most of these wonderful revolvers, this one saw extensive service and was rebuilt at the turn of the 20th century by a military arsenal as indicated by the RAC cartouche on grip. Patent markings on frame are very legible and are followed by US stamped on the left side of frame. Other inspector marks include A on the trigger guard (serial number 750), HN on the backstrap, and D.F.C. on the frame. Condition is very good for its age, with all metal displaying lovely patinization. Some original case hardening is still visible. This is your opportunity to own a piece of history.
