Colt New Frontier Scout "Kit Carson Commemorative", .22 long rifle cal. single action revolver.
Excellent new in the box condition. 6" barrel has a perfect bore, fixed front and adjustable rear sights. 100% blue finish on the barrel with gold fill engraving "He Led the Way" on one side and "Kit Carson Commemorative .22 cal." along with Western scenes on both sides. 100% blue finish on the cylinder and trigger guard. Case colored frame is excellent. Faux ivory white grips are in perfect shape. Comes with paperwork, a Kit Carson hardbound book titled Kit Carson's Own Story of His Life" and a beautiful cherry wood display case with a red interior. The key is included and there's a plaque on the inside of the case. Engraved on the wood is "Kit Carson Commemorative 1809-1984. Makes an excellent display Colt. Only 951 of these were made.
