Colt Python 357 Mag Blued 6″ Barrel Walnut Box Early Production 1962

Excellent condition. 98% original blue finish. Very light handling marks, traces of edge wear, and light cylinder drag line. The grips are also excellent with sharp checkering and small dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good with some corner and edge wear.

Manufactured in 1962. Pinned serrated ramp blade front and fully adjustable rear notch sights, standard barrel legend, matte finished barrel and frame top, wide borderless checkered hammer, 7 groove serrated back strap and a pair of checkered medallion grips. Of particular note among the features is the counter-bored ejector shroud; intended to influence the overall balance of the piece, this feature is only seen on the earliest Pythons.
