This rare Colt Custom Shop Mark IV Series 80 1911 commemorates the 20th Anniversary of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), with only around 2,000 units produced exclusively for active and retired agents. This particular pistol, S/N DEA0296, was purchased by Chris Egan—a Senior Special Agent who served 21 years with the DEA.

Featuring elegant gold commemorative scrollwork and DEA-themed motifs on both sides of the slide, this 5" .45 ACP pistol wears Colt’s highly polished royal blue finish and smooth rosewood grips with gold Colt medallions. A true display-grade piece, it balances form and function in classic 1911 styling.

This example comes with a Colt walnut and glass display case fitted in red velour, a brass commemorative plaque, original blue Colt box with printed outer sleeve, Colt Custom Shop paperwork, invoice, and an extra magazine. Finish shows near-excellent condition overall, with minor signs of oxidation beneath the grips and in interior areas.
