Colt Blackpowder Series 1851 Navy – .36 Cal Percussion Revolver, Case-Hardened Frame, With Box

This is an Authentic Colt Blackpowder Series 1851 Navy, manufactured under Colt authorization and considered far more collectible than Italian reproductions. The 1851 Navy is one of Colt’s most iconic percussion revolvers, famous for its balance, handling, and the engraved Naval Battle of Campeche cylinder scene, which is visible and crisp on this example.

The revolver features a beautiful case-hardened frame, polished blue barrel and cylinder, and smooth walnut grips. Condition is excellent—case colors are vibrant, edges are sharp, and the blued surfaces show only extremely light handling marks. The cylinder scene is clean and well-defined, an important factor for collectors of the Blackpowder Series line.

This revolver includes its original black “Authentic Colt Blackpowder Series” box, which shows storage wear but remains solid and presentable. Serial number on the revolver is 54630.
