Colt 1911 Government Model 45 ACP 5″ Barrel Circa 1971

serial #70G11232. 45 ACP, 5” barrel with an excellent bore. The metal surfaces of this 1971 pistol retain about 98% original finish with scattered silvering of the high edges, some scattered light freckling on the top of the slide, assembly marks and a few light handling marks. The checkered walnut grips with gold Rampant Colt medallions are about very good, there is some finish flaking off a few of the points, most notably on the right side panel. The rear sight is a small adjustable u-notch blade, the front is an A1-style blade. This Series 70 comes with a single magazine.
