Brazilian 1908/34 Mauser Carbine 7x57mm – Nice Condition

Brazilian Model of 1908/34 Mauser "Police Carbine" in good condition. Chambered in 7mm Mauser, these Brno-produced short Mausers are lightweight, handy, and strong rifles. Condition on this one is pretty nice. Most metal surfaces are clean, with a little patina on the bolt and a few spots of light pitting on the floorplate and the very front section of barrel but overall mostly intact and strong finish. Wood is quite nice, with some original cartouches remaining and only a few dings of damage. All original serials match; bolt, receiver, and stock. Action is very smooth. Bore has strong lands and grooves. Left front sight hood is very slightly bent in. Most notable damage is some serious pitting on the recoil lugs – it doesn't spoil the lines or anything, but it is immediately apparent. This is a fairly rare Mauser in an excellent cartridge and would make for a great collector's item, range toy, or even a cool brush gun.
