Bergara Premier Highlander

The Bergara Premier Highlander is a bolt action hunting rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and built on the Premier two lug action. A 24 inch No. 5 taper 416 stainless barrel wears Sniper Gray Cerakote and is threaded for a muzzle device. The fiberglass stock and 42.5 inch overall length keep the rifle ready for mountain and open country hunts.

A floating bolt head, cone shaped bolt nose, and spring loaded sliding plate extractor help the action feed and extract cleanly. The stainless bolt body and nitrided gas shield, handle, and shroud are built for hard use, and the two position TriggerTech Frictionless Release safety lets you unload with the rifle on safe. The receiver accepts Remington 700 style rings and bases, and a hinged floor plate holds 4+1 rounds.

This Highlander is well suited to deer, antelope, and other 6.5 Creedmoor hunts where a 1 in 8 twist and a 24 inch barrel matter. The Premier action and fiberglass stock give the rifle a custom style layout without a one off build.
