1968 Colt Commander Lightweight .38 Super – Nice Condition!

Colt Commander Lightweight in .38 Super. Fixed rear notch and matted front blade sights. Black anodized finish to frame with blued finish on slide and small parts. Grips are smooth contoured walnut with swells. Standard factory markings to slide and frame. 

Condition is good. Bore is very bright. Blued finish to slide shows spots of patina forming to upper surface, light edgewear, and some weakening of finish at rear right side of slide behind cocking serrations. Anodized finish shows some spotted losses to right side beneath slide consistent with normal wear. Spot of brown patina on bolt face and to left side of breech. Spot of minor oxidation on left side of rear sight. Grips have light handling wear with some abrasions. An atypical and rare example of a classic carry gun.
