Description
1956-ish Russian SKS in nice condition. This is a so-called "letter gun," one of the last few years of Russian produced SKS. These all have receiver dust covers without the big Soviet crests present on the earlier guns and two-letter Cyrillic prefixes on the receivers. This one is in nice condition, with clean metal and wood surfaces. The bayonet is missing and the replacement plastic front sight is broken and will need to be replaced. Mechanical function is very good, with a remarkably good trigger for an SKS pattern rifle.
