1947 Fazakerley No.5 Mk I Jungle Carbine – Great Condition, All Matching

1947 Fazakerley No. 5 Mark I Jungle Carbine in near-excellent condition. A shortened and lightened version of the Lee-Enfield intended for service in Southeast Asia, the Jungle Carbine is a light, handy, and very loud member of the Lee-Enfield family. This particular example, produced by Fazakerley, is a great example and is in very nice condition. Serial numbers match between bolt handle, receiver flat, end of handguard, and magazine (that last one is particularly rare.) Wood surfaces are in great condition with very slight thinning of finish on handguard, Rubber buttpad is fully intact. Metal surfaces are very good with some thinning of finish on bolt handle and a spot of thin finish on barrel but otherwsie no rust of other damage. All mechanical functions work properly. A leather sling is attached.
