11mm Brass and Ivory Engraved Pinfire Revolver

Engraved pinfire revolver in excellent condition. This revolver has no markings, but is very likely one of the thousands of pinfire revolvers produced by cottage industry style gunmakers in Liege, Belgium. While functional double-action revolvers, these were very much intended as onamental pieces rather than practical. This example is a fully engraved solid brass piece fitted with ivory grips (please note that the quantity of ivory here falls under the Federal de minimus limit for legal interstate commerce but some states may have further laws dealing with ivory – if you think that may be the case, check with a local expert.) Condition is excellent. Pistol shows no signs of ever being fired. All engravings remain strong without unsightly tarnish. All mechanical functions work as new. This antique black powder revolver does not require an FFL.
